Live now for Deadlock, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, PUBG and Destiny 2. Signed in with Steam or Bungie? Tap Use my profile to put yourself in Player A, then add anyone to compare against, or try a famous matchup like s1mple vs ZywOo.

How does AI Profile Pick work?

  1. Pick the game and enter two players: a Steam link or SteamID64 for Deadlock or CS2, a Steam link or Dota 2 friend ID for Dota 2, the exact in-game name and platform (Steam, Kakao, PlayStation or Xbox) for PUBG, or a Bungie Name for Destiny 2.
  2. Get an instant quick pick from the RankSurge score while both profiles load.
  3. Read the AI verdict: the stronger profile, a confidence level, three reasons with real numbers, and what each player does better.
  4. Share it with the copy-link button. The link reopens the same comparison.

Which stats does it compare?

Game Weighted most Also compared
Deadlock Current rank, win rate (last 30), KDA, souls per minute Overall win rate, peak rank, last hits per minute, matches and hours played
Counter-Strike 2 Premier rating, FACEIT Elo, Leetify rating, win rate Aim, positioning and utility scores, headshot accuracy, opening duels, trade kills, matches tracked
Dota 2 Rank medal, win rate (recent 20), KDA, GPM and XPM Overall win rate, last hits per minute, matches played, heroes played
PUBG Ranked tier and RP this season, K/D, average damage Win rate, top 10 rate, headshot kill %, wins, matches played, longest kill
Destiny 2 Crucible K/D, efficiency, win rate KDA, Crucible matches, PvE clears, highest Power, Guardian Rank, Triumph score

Which stats are fair to compare?

Rates beat totals. A player with 2,000 games will always have more total kills than someone with 200, so the score leans on per-minute stats, KDA, win rate and rank. Every comparison also shows matches played, so you can see when one profile is built on only a few games.

Same yardstick

Both players are scored with the same weights for that game, so the result is about the stats, not who you searched first.

Reasons, not just a winner

The verdict cites the stat gaps that decided it, and what the other player does better.

Fast

Profiles are cached for a few minutes, so most comparisons land in a second or two.

No hidden MMR or ELO estimates, no live lobby scouting, and no Valorant data for players who have not opted in with Riot Sign On. PUBG stats come from the official PUBG API; RankSurge is not affiliated with or endorsed by KRAFTON.

Frequently asked questions

How does AI Profile Pick decide who is stronger?

We pull both players' public profiles and line up the same stats for each one. A RankSurge score weighs the stats that matter most in that game: current rank, recent win rate, KDA and souls per minute in Deadlock, Premier rating, FACEIT Elo and aim in CS2, rank medal, recent win rate and GPM in Dota 2, ranked RP, K/D and average damage in PUBG, or K/D, efficiency and win rate in Destiny 2. Then our AI reads only those numbers, picks the stronger profile and explains why in plain language, with a confidence level.

Which games can I compare?

Deadlock, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds and Destiny 2 today. For Deadlock or CS2, paste a Steam profile link or SteamID64. For Dota 2, paste a Steam link or the friend ID from your Dota 2 profile, and make sure Expose Public Match Data is on. For PUBG, enter the exact in-game name (it is case-sensitive) and pick Steam, Kakao, PlayStation or Xbox. For Destiny 2, enter a Bungie Name such as Guardian#1234. You can only compare two players in the same game, because each game measures skill differently.

Does the AI see player names or accounts?

No. The AI only receives the stat numbers shown in the comparison, labelled Player A and Player B. Names, Steam IDs, Dota friend IDs, PUBG names and Bungie accounts are never sent to it. The names you see in the verdict are added back on your screen.

Why does it say Quick pick instead of AI pick?

The quick pick appears instantly from the RankSurge score while the AI finishes its analysis, usually within a second or two. If the AI is busy, the quick pick stays on screen so you still get a result. It is clearly labelled so you always know which one you are looking at.

Why does a PUBG comparison sometimes say stats are busy?

The official PUBG API only allows a few player lookups a minute, so when many people search at once RankSurge has to wait. Profiles we have already loaded are cached for about 15 minutes, so popular players load straight away. If you see the busy message, wait about a minute and try again.

Is a higher score always the better player?

It means the stronger profile on the stats available, not a guarantee of who wins the next match. Small samples, hero or class choice and recent form all matter. Check the matches played row: a profile with only a handful of games is a hint, not a verdict.

Can I use it to scout players in my current lobby?

No. AI Profile Pick compares public profiles you look up yourself. RankSurge does not offer live lobby scouting or in-game alerts, does not estimate hidden MMR, and only shows Valorant players who opt in with Riot Sign On once Valorant support launches.
