A Destiny 2 stats tracker brings your Crucible rank, PvP performance and raid and dungeon clears into one profile. Crucible Competitive has seven divisions, Copper to Ascendant, each with three subdivisions, after seven placement matches. RankSurge reads all of this live from Bungie's official API.

What does the Destiny 2 stats tracker show?
Every profile pulls straight from Bungie, on Xbox, PlayStation and Steam:
- Crucible: career PvP totals plus separate stats for Competitive, Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner, with Gambit as well.
- Raids and dungeons: total clears, plus a per-activity list when the player's history is public.
- Weapons and loadout: top weapons by kills and what each character has equipped right now.
- Seals, Guardian Rank and clan: earned titles, current Guardian Rank and clan name.
- Recent activity: latest matches with a full post-game report for each one.
How do Destiny 2 Competitive divisions work?
The Crucible Competitive playlist uses a visible Division rating. Wins raise it and losses lower it. How much depends on three things: your rating compared with your skill, your skill compared with your lobby, and your performance compared with your lobby.
Destiny 2 Competitive division ladder
| Division | Subdivisions | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Untested | None | Finish 7 placement matches |
| Copper | III, II, I | |
| Bronze | III, II, I | |
| Silver | III, II, I | |
| Gold | III, II, I | Weekly decay applies from Gold III up |
| Platinum | III, II, I | Decay applies |
| Adept | III, II, I | Decay applies |
| Ascendant | III, II, I, then 0 | Ascendant 0 is the top step (point cap 15,000 since Episode Heresy); decay applies |
How does decay protection work?
From Gold III up, each completed match earns one Decay Protection Point, to a maximum of 12. The weekly reset removes three. Fall below three and you lose 250 Division Points instead.
Which Destiny 2 stats actually matter?
Destiny 2 mixes PvP and PvE, so the useful stats depend on what you play.
Efficiency
Kills plus assists divided by deaths. It credits teamwork in the Crucible better than plain K/D.
Win rate
Competitive is decided by wins. A rising win rate means your Division rating is likely to follow.
Weapon kills
Which weapons get your kills shows what is working and what is just taking up a slot.
Raid clears
Completions per raid show your experience at a glance, useful when joining a new fireteam.
Dungeon clears
The same history for dungeons, including which characters and classes you finished them on.
Activity history
Recent matches and activities show how often you play and where your time goes.

Bungie lets each player choose what is public. If a player hides their activity history or Triumphs in their Bungie.net privacy settings, the API does not return it, so RankSurge shows a short note in place of match history, per-raid lists or seals. Career totals, loadout and Crucible stats usually still appear.
What does the Destiny 2 vault manager do?
The Destiny 2 vault manager lets you move, equip and lock weapons and armor across your characters and vault from any device. You sign in with Bungie on Bungie's own page; we never see your password, and you can revoke access from your Bungie account at any time.
Bungie ended Destiny 2 live development in May 2026; Monument of Triumph (June 9, 2026) was the final content update. The game and Bungie's API remain online. RankSurge is an independent site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bungie.

Frequently asked questions
What are the Destiny 2 Competitive divisions?
Destiny 2's Crucible Competitive playlist has seven divisions, lowest to highest: Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Adept and Ascendant. Each division has three subdivisions, III, II and I, for 21 ranked steps. Players who have not finished placements show as Untested. Winning raises your Division rating and losing lowers it, and the size of each change depends on your skill, your lobby and how you performed against it.
How many placement matches does Destiny 2 Competitive have?
You play seven placement matches before Bungie puts you into a Competitive division. Until then you show as Untested. After placement, every match moves your Division rating. If your rating is well below your real skill, wins give you more points and losses cost fewer, so placing too low corrects itself faster than it looks.
Do Destiny 2 Competitive ranks decay?
Yes, from Gold III upward. You earn one Decay Protection Point for each completed Competitive match, up to a maximum of 12. Each weekly reset removes three points. If you have fewer than three at reset, you lose 250 Division Points instead. Playing a few matches each week keeps your protection topped up and your rank safe. The weekly reset also cancels any active promotion or relegation series.
How do I look up a Destiny 2 player on RankSurge?
Type their Bungie Name, such as Guardian#1234, into the search box at the top of this page and pick a platform or leave it on All platforms. RankSurge finds the account on Xbox, PlayStation or Steam and shows their Crucible stats per mode, raid and dungeon clears, top weapons, equipped loadout, seals, Guardian Rank, clan and recent activity. To see your own profile, sign in with Bungie and select My Guardian.
Why are some of a player's stats missing?
Bungie lets every player choose what is public. If someone hides their activity history or Triumphs in their Bungie.net privacy settings, Bungie's API does not return that data, so RankSurge shows a short note instead of match history, per-raid lists or seals. Their profile, loadout and career totals usually still appear. Players can change this under Privacy in their Bungie.net account settings.
What is the RankSurge Destiny 2 vault manager?
It is a free tool for sorting your weapons and armor across your three characters and your vault. You sign in with Bungie on Bungie's own page, so we never see your password, and then you can move, equip and lock items from your phone or computer. RankSurge cannot delete, dismantle or trade anything, and you can remove its access from your Bungie.net settings at any time.
