Manage your Destiny 2 weapons and armor from your phone or computer. Sign in with Bungie to move gear between your Titan, Hunter, Warlock and vault, equip gear, lock your favourite rolls and swap whole in-game loadouts in one tap.
Your account stays yours. You sign in on Bungie.net, never on RankSurge. Your session is encrypted and kept only in your browser, and RankSurge can only move, equip and lock items. We cannot delete, dismantle or trade anything.
How do I use the Destiny 2 vault manager?
- Select Sign in with Bungie and approve access on Bungie.net.
- Pick a character or the Vault tab to see what is there, or search across everything.
- Check your Guardian card to see Power, subclass, stats and everything equipped, then tap any item to move it, equip it on a character, or lock it.
- Scroll to In-game loadouts to equip a saved loadout or save your current gear into a slot.
- Select Sign out when you are done, especially on a shared device.
What does the vault manager show?
Every weapon and armor piece
Kinetic, Energy and Power weapons plus helmet, arms, chest, legs and class items, with Power level, rarity and lock status.
One-tap moves
Move items between characters in a single tap. RankSurge handles the stop in your vault for you.
Your Guardian, live
See each character's emblem, class, Power, subclass, stats and every equipped weapon and armor piece before you change anything.
In-game loadouts
Equip any of your saved Destiny 2 loadouts, or save your current gear into a loadout slot. We ask before overwriting a slot.
Equip and lock
Equip gear on any character in orbit and lock items so they cannot be dismantled by accident.
How is my account protected?
- Bungie sign-in only. RankSurge never sees or stores your Bungie password.
- Limited permissions. We only ask to read your inventory, move or equip items and use your in-game loadouts.
- Encrypted, browser-only session. Nothing about your session is saved on RankSurge servers.
- Automatic sign-out. Sessions end when you close the tab or after an hour idle, unless you choose to stay signed in for up to 30 days.
- Bot and abuse protection. Requests are rate limited and automated scripts are blocked.
- Revoke any time. Remove RankSurge from Applications in your Bungie.net account settings.
Want stats instead? Look up any Guardian's Crucible, raid and weapon stats on the Destiny 2 stats tracker.
Frequently asked questions
Is the RankSurge Destiny 2 vault manager safe to use?
You sign in on Bungie.net, not on RankSurge, so we never see your password. Bungie gives RankSurge a token that only allows reading your inventory and moving, equipping and locking items. That token is encrypted and kept in your own browser, not on our servers. RankSurge cannot delete, dismantle, buy, sell or trade items. You can sign out at any time, and you can remove RankSurge's access from your Bungie.net account settings under Applications.
What can I do with the vault manager?
You can see every weapon and armor piece on your three characters and in your vault, search by name, filter by slot, move items between characters and the vault, equip gear on any character, and lock or unlock items so they are protected from dismantling in game. You can also see your Guardian's Power, subclass, stats and equipped gear, equip a saved in-game loadout, or save your current gear into a loadout slot. It works on phones, tablets and computers.
Why can't I move an equipped item?
Destiny 2 does not allow an equipped item to leave a character. Equip a different item in that slot first, then move the original. Equipping gear or a loadout only works while the character is in orbit, the Tower or another social space, not during an activity.
How long do I stay signed in?
By default you stay signed in until you close the browser tab, and you are signed out after an hour without activity. If you tick Keep me signed in on this device, the session lasts up to 30 days on that browser. Do not tick it on shared or public computers.
Why does the first load take longer?
The first time you open the vault manager, your browser downloads Bungie's item database so it can show item names and icons. That happens once and is then stored in your browser, so later visits load quickly.
Is RankSurge affiliated with Bungie?
No. RankSurge is an independent fan site that uses Bungie's official public API. Destiny 2 is a registered trademark of Bungie. Item names and icons come from Bungie's API.
RankSurge is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bungie. Destiny 2 is a trademark of Bungie, Inc.
