A League of Legends stats tracker shows your ranked tier, LP and match performance across queues. League has ten tiers, Iron to Challenger. The seven tiers below Master have four divisions each, and 100 League Points (LP) promotes you one division. Master and above rank you purely by LP.

Launching soon. League of Legends lookups are not live yet. They open after Riot approves our production API key. Get notified when it goes live.

What are the League of Legends ranks in order?

Every ranked game moves your visible LP and your hidden matchmaking rating (MMR). Hit 100 LP and you promote straight to the next division; promotion series no longer exist. Drop below 0 LP and you can demote.

Division IV is the bottom of each tier and Division I is the top. Climbing out of Diamond I puts you in Master, where divisions disappear.

League of Legends rank ladder

Tier Divisions How you advance
Iron IV, III, II, I 100 LP per division
Bronze IV, III, II, I 100 LP per division
Silver IV, III, II, I 100 LP per division
Gold IV, III, II, I 100 LP per division
Platinum IV, III, II, I 100 LP per division
Emerald IV, III, II, I 100 LP per division
Diamond IV, III, II, I 100 LP per division; decay applies
Master None Rank set by LP total
Grandmaster None LP above a cutoff recalculated daily
Challenger None Roughly the top 300 players per region

Which ranked queues count?

Ranked Solo/Duo and Ranked Flex keep separate ranks and separate MMR. Normal games have their own hidden rating and never change your ranked tier. The 2026 season runs in three splits, and your rank carries from one split to the next until the January soft reset.

Which League of Legends stats actually matter?

KDA gets the attention, but the stats below explain more of why games are won. Compare them against players in your role and tier, not against pros.

CS per minute

Creep score per minute is the clearest measure of farming. Gold you do not lose to missed minions turns into items sooner.

Kill participation

The share of your team's kills you were part of. Low numbers often mean you are farming while fights happen.

Damage share

Your share of the team's damage to champions shows whether you are pulling your weight in fights.

Vision score

Wards placed, wards cleared and control wards bought. Supports and junglers live here, but every role should track it.

Deaths per game

Fewer deaths usually beat more kills. Each death hands the enemy gold and map time.

Win rate by champion

Small, focused champion pools climb faster. Your top three picks by games played tell you where to focus.

Which League of Legends guides should you read?

Start with how the ladder works, learn which numbers matter, then follow the climbing plan. Each guide is checked against official publisher pages first and dated, and more games are covered in our climbing guides for every game.

How will RankSurge show League of Legends stats?

RankSurge will read ranked tier, LP and match history through Riot's official API once our production key is approved. You will be able to search by Riot ID, see Solo/Duo and Flex ranks side by side, and break down stats by champion and role.

RankSurge will never show MMR or ELO estimates and will not offer pre-match lobby scouting. Riot's policies prohibit both, and the official tier and LP are the numbers that count.

Frequently asked questions

What are the League of Legends ranks in order?

From lowest to highest, the League of Legends ranked tiers are Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster and Challenger. The first seven tiers each have four divisions, from IV (lowest) to I (highest), so there are 28 divisioned steps before the apex tiers. Master, Grandmaster and Challenger have no divisions; your League Points total decides where you stand, and Challenger is usually limited to roughly the top 300 players in a region.

How does LP work in League of Legends?

League Points (LP) are the visible progress inside each division. You gain LP for wins and lose it for losses, and the amount depends on how your hidden MMR compares with your current rank. Reaching 100 LP in a division promotes you to the next one, and reaching 100 LP in Division I moves you to Division IV of the next tier at 0 LP. Promotion series have been removed, so there are no extra best-of games to play when you hit 100 LP.

Are Solo/Duo and Flex ranks the same?

No. Ranked Solo/Duo and Ranked Flex are separate ladders with their own ranks and their own matchmaking ratings. Solo/Duo lets you queue alone or with one friend and is the rank most players mean when they talk about their League rank. Flex lets you queue with larger groups. Normal games use a separate hidden rating and do not affect either ranked ladder, so a good week in normals will not move your ranked tier.

How many placement games does League of Legends have?

Each ranked queue starts the season with five placement games. You cannot lose LP during placements, and your result depends on your performance, the MMR of the players you face and your rank from the previous season. Placements cannot put you above Diamond III. Ranks carry over between splits inside a season, and a soft reset in early January moves your rating partway back toward the middle and asks you to play placements again.

Does rank decay exist in League of Legends?

Yes, but only from Diamond upward. Diamond players have a 28-day bank of protection, earn seven days back per ranked game, and lose 50 LP per day once the bank runs out. Master, Grandmaster and Challenger players have a 14-day bank, earn one day per game, and lose 75 LP per day after it is empty. Decay lowers your visible LP, not your hidden MMR, but it can drop you a tier if you stay inactive.

When will RankSurge League of Legends stats go live?

League of Legends and Valorant lookups launch after Riot approves our production API key. Deadlock, Counter-Strike 2, Destiny 2 and Marvel Rivals are scheduled first. We will not announce a date until Riot's approval is confirmed, and we will not show MMR or ELO estimates when it launches, because Riot's policies prohibit them. Join the newsletter on this page and we will email you as soon as League lookups open.
