A Dota 2 stats tracker shows your medal, win rate and match performance across games. Dota 2 ranked has eight medals, Herald to Immortal, with five stars in each medal below Immortal. Farm (GPM and XPM), deaths and your hero pool explain most of your results.

What does the RankSurge Dota 2 profile show?

  • Rank: your medal and stars, or your Immortal leaderboard position.

  • Heroes: your most-played heroes with games and win rate for each.

  • Teammates: the players you queue with most and your win rate together.

How do Dota 2 ranks and medals work?

Your medal comes from a hidden matchmaking rating (MMR). Win and it goes up, lose and it goes down. Herald through Divine each have five stars, and Immortal players get a numbered regional leaderboard position instead.

Dota 2 medals and approximate MMR

Medal Approx. MMR
Herald 0 - 770
Guardian 770 - 1,540
Crusader 1,540 - 2,310
Archon 2,310 - 3,080
Legend 3,080 - 3,850
Ancient 3,850 - 4,620
Divine 4,620 - 5,420
Immortal 5,420+ (leaderboard rank, no stars)

These ranges are community estimates; Valve does not publish exact cutoffs, and the Immortal floor changes by region. In late July 2026, patch 7.41e compressed the top of the Immortal ladder to about 9,500 MMR without changing anyone's leaderboard order, and left Role Queue as the main ranked mode. Read Dota 2 ranks explained for MMR per win, ranked requirements and calibration.

Which Dota 2 stats actually matter?

Kills look good on the scoreboard, but Dota 2 is a game of farm, timing and objectives. These numbers explain who is really winning.

Gold per minute (GPM)

How fast you turn farm and kills into items. Cores live and die by it; supports should not chase it.

XP per minute (XPM)

How quickly you reach your power levels. Falling behind in XP shows up in fights before it shows up in gold.

Last hits and denies

The core of the laning stage. Ten minutes of good last hitting often decides who wins lane.

KDA

Kills plus assists over deaths. Deaths matter most: each one gives the enemy gold and time on the map.

Hero and tower damage

Hero damage shows fight impact. Tower damage shows whether that impact turned into objectives.

Win rate by hero

Your best heroes by games and win rate show where to focus your ranked pool.

Which Dota 2 guides and tools should you use?

Why is my Dota 2 match history missing?

Dota 2 only shares match details when a player allows it. If your profile shows a medal but no matches, open Dota 2, go to Settings → Options → Social and tick Expose Public Match Data. New matches show up within a few minutes.

Dota 2 stats come from the OpenDota public API. RankSurge is independent and is not affiliated with Valve or OpenDota.

Frequently asked questions

How do I look up a Dota 2 player on RankSurge?

Enter a Steam name, a Steam profile link, a SteamID64 or a Dota 2 friend ID into the lookup at the top of this page, or tap Sign in with Steam to open your own profile. You get the player's medal and stars, all-time and recent win rate, KDA, GPM and XPM, most-played heroes, frequent teammates and the last 20 matches. Tap any match to open the full ten-player scoreboard with item builds.

Why does my Dota 2 profile show no matches?

Dota 2 hides match data unless the player allows it. Open Dota 2, go to Settings, then Options, then Social, and tick Expose Public Match Data. New matches appear on RankSurge within a few minutes after that. Older matches played while the setting was off may stay hidden. Your medal and profile name can still show while match history is hidden.

What are the Dota 2 ranks in order?

Dota 2 has eight medals, lowest to highest: Herald, Guardian, Crusader, Archon, Legend, Ancient, Divine and Immortal. Herald through Divine each have five stars, so a Legend 3 player sits in the middle of Legend. Immortal has no stars; eligible Immortal players get a numbered regional leaderboard position instead. Your medal is based on your hidden matchmaking rating, or MMR.

How much MMR is each Dota 2 medal?

Guides commonly list these approximate ranges: Herald up to about 770 MMR, Guardian to about 1,540, Crusader to about 2,310, Archon to about 3,080, Legend to about 3,850, Ancient to about 4,620, Divine to about 5,420, and Immortal above that, with slightly wider stars in Divine. Valve does not publish exact cutoffs, and the Immortal floor shifts with each region's player base.

What changed for Immortal ranked in 2026?

Patch 7.41e in late July 2026 compressed the top of the Immortal ladder, bringing the most inflated ratings down to about 9,500 MMR while keeping everyone's leaderboard order. Valve also removed Random Draft and Ranked Classic from the ranked pool, leaving Role Queue as the main ranked mode. Lower medals were not part of the compression.

Is there a live Dota 2 hero tier list?

Yes. The Dota 2 hero tier list ranks every hero by win rate and pick rate, split by rank bracket from Herald to Immortal plus a pro matches view, and refreshes every 30 minutes from OpenDota's public hero statistics.

Where do RankSurge's Dota 2 stats come from?

Dota 2 stats come from the OpenDota public API, a long-running open-source project that parses public match data, and refresh every few minutes. Only matches with public match data are counted. RankSurge is independent and is not affiliated with Valve or OpenDota.
