RankSurge Leaderboards will rank the top players in each game and region using the official ranked ladder: Valorant's regional leaderboard, League's Grandmaster and Challenger, Dota 2's Immortal leaderboard and Overwatch 2's Challenger Tier (formerly Top 500). Each ladder has its own rules, caps and cutoffs, explained below.

How do ranked leaderboards work in each game?

Valorant leaderboard
Each region has its own board ranked by Rank Rating. Per Riot Support (checked October 2026), Radiant needs a regional RR threshold, for example 450 RR in NA and 500 RR in EU, plus a top 500 placement. You must play at least one Competitive game every 7 days to stay listed.
League of Legends apex tiers
Master, Grandmaster and Challenger have no divisions. Grandmaster and Challenger are capped per region, so cutoffs float with the competition. Riot Support lists 700 Grandmaster and 300 Challenger Solo/Duo slots on NA, EUW, KR and SEA, with smaller caps on other servers.
Overwatch 2 Challenger Tier
Blizzard replaced the old Top 500 ordering with Challenger Score in Season 20 (December 2025). Wins at Diamond 5 or above earn points, losses cost a share, and a weekly Heat Bonus rewards consistency. There are separate boards for each role, Combined, Open Queue and Stadium.
Dota 2 Immortal leaderboard
Immortal is the top Dota 2 medal and has no stars. Immortal players are ordered by MMR on four regional leaderboards: the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia and China. How do regional ladders differ?
Every ladder above is regional. That means different player pools, different cutoffs and, in some games, different rules.
Different thresholds
Valorant's Radiant RR bar ranges from 200 RR in LATAM and KR to 500 RR in EU, per Riot Support.
Different caps
League's apex caps are larger on big servers like NA and EUW than on smaller ones like JP.
Separate boards
Overwatch 2 runs its Challenger leaderboards per platform and region.
Valorant leaderboards on RankSurge will only list players who opt in with Riot Sign On. The in-game ladder is always the official source.

How does the Valorant leaderboard work?
Each Valorant region has its own leaderboard, ranked by Rank Rating. Riot's support site says you must play at least one Competitive game every 7 days to keep your position, and you can hide your name by choosing Secret Agent. What are League of Legends Grandmaster and Challenger cutoffs?
League's Grandmaster and Challenger tiers have a fixed number of slots per region, so the LP you need moves with the competition. Riot Support says Grandmaster needs at least 400 LP and Challenger at least 800 LP, plus more LP than the lowest player in that tier. Standings refresh on a rotating 24-hour schedule, so the cutoff changes daily.
Is Overwatch 2 Top 500 still a thing?
It has been upgraded. Since Season 20, Blizzard calls it the Challenger Tier and orders it by Challenger Score, earned by winning at Diamond 5 or above. Leaderboards still show the top 500 per board, split by role, Combined, Open Queue and Stadium, per platform and region. Blizzard also requires Endorsement Level 2 and minimum score thresholds.
Why is my region's leaderboard different from another region's?
Each region has its own player pool and, in several games, its own thresholds and caps. Valorant sets different Radiant RR thresholds by region, and League's Grandmaster and Challenger caps vary by server. A player near the top in one region may sit lower elsewhere, so always compare within the same region and season.
How often will RankSurge leaderboards update?
Our leaderboards will refresh as often as each publisher's API allows and will always show when they were last updated. Official in-game ladders can move faster than any third-party site, so if something looks off, the in-game leaderboard is the source of truth. Leaderboards launch with the stats service, game by game.
Can I be removed from a RankSurge leaderboard?
Yes. Valorant players will only appear if they opt in with Riot Sign On, and they can revoke that at any time. For other games, RankSurge will show data the publisher makes public through its official API, so making your profile private in the game or on Steam will stop new data appearing.
