RankSurge is a free, independent stats tracker for eight competitive games. Our mission is fast, clean, honest stats that help you improve after each match, not scout lobbies before it. We use official APIs where they exist, explain our formulas, and never ask you to install anything.
What is RankSurge trying to do?
Most stat sites are built to be glanced at between queues and then forgotten. We want RankSurge to be the page you open after a session to understand what actually happened: which roles or agents you win on, where your games slip away, and whether you are trending up.
That means post-match improvement over pre-match scouting. We do not build lobby scouting or live overlays. We build review tools you use between games, which is also what publisher policies, including Riot's, support.
What makes RankSurge different from other stat trackers?
No Overwolf, no overlay
RankSurge is a web app. Nothing installs on your PC or touches your game client, so there is no effect on performance or anti-cheat.
Ad-light pages
Stats load fast and stay readable. We keep ads minimal so the numbers, not banners, are what you see first.
Transparent formulas
Every derived score will come with a plain-English explanation of how it is calculated and which raw stats feed it.
Sample sizes shown
Each stat will show how many matches it is based on, so you can tell a real trend from a lucky weekend.
Official rank only
We show the rank your game gives you. No guessed MMR or ELO, which Riot's policies prohibit for its games.
Privacy first
We never ask for your password. Account linking uses the publisher's official sign-in, and you can revoke it anytime.
Where does RankSurge get its data?
We use official developer APIs wherever a publisher offers one, and each game page names its source.
| Game | Data source | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Valorant | Riot Games API | Opt-in only: players must sign in with Riot |
| League of Legends | Riot Games API | After Riot production key approval |
| Counter-Strike 2 | Steam Web API and FACEIT API | Steam game details must be public |
| Destiny 2 | Bungie API | Live; Bungie sign-in for your own profile and vault |
| Deadlock | Community API | Live; no full official stats API |
| Marvel Rivals | Community API | No full official stats API |
| Overwatch 2 | Public career profiles | Profile must be set to public |
Is RankSurge independent?
RankSurge is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Riot Games, Valve, Bungie, NetEase or Blizzard. Game names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the games we cover.
What is on the RankSurge roadmap?
We are launching in phases so each game ships properly instead of all at once and half-finished.
Phase one: first games online
Live now: player lookups for Deadlock, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and Destiny 2, full Destiny 2 Guardian profiles, the Destiny 2 vault manager with Bungie sign-in, and AI Profile Pick. Next: Marvel Rivals.
Phase two: Riot games
League of Legends and Valorant lookups once Riot approves our production API key. Valorant stats will only show for players who opt in through Riot sign-in.
Phase three: Overwatch 2 and more tools
Overwatch 2 career profile lookups, plus wider tools such as player comparisons and patch-day tier lists.
Live now. Deadlock, CS2, Dota 2 and Destiny 2 lookups are open on the Player Lookup page. More games are on the way. Get notified when your game goes live.

Frequently asked questions
Who runs RankSurge?
RankSurge is an independent stats site at ranksurge.games, built by players for players. It is not owned by or affiliated with any game publisher. You can reach the team at sales@ranksurge.games or through the contact page with questions, data corrections, feature ideas or privacy requests. We read every message and use the feedback to decide what we build next.
Is RankSurge affiliated with Riot, Valve, Bungie, NetEase or Blizzard?
No. RankSurge is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Riot Games, Valve, Bungie, NetEase or Blizzard. Game names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe which games our stats cover. We access data through each publisher's public developer programs or established community sources, and we follow their developer policies, including Riot's opt-in rules for Valorant.
Why doesn't RankSurge use Overwolf or an overlay?
Because a stats site should never get between you and your game. RankSurge runs entirely in your browser, so there is nothing to install, nothing hooking into your game client, and no effect on frame rate or anti-cheat. It also keeps us focused on post-match review, which is what actually helps you improve, rather than live in-game prompts that publisher policies often restrict.
What does 'transparent stat formulas' mean?
It means every derived number on RankSurge, such as a performance score or a role rating, will come with a plain explanation of how it is calculated and which raw stats feed into it. We will also show the sample size behind each stat, so you can tell a trend from ten games apart from a fluke in two. If a number is estimated or limited by the source, we will label it.
Is RankSurge live yet?
Yes, in phases. Deadlock, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and Destiny 2 lookups are live now, along with full Destiny 2 Guardian profiles and the Destiny 2 vault manager. Marvel Rivals comes next. League of Legends and Valorant follow once Riot approves our production API key, and Overwatch 2 comes after that. Join the email list to hear the day your game goes live.
Is RankSurge free?
Yes. RankSurge has a free tier and core stat lookups will always be free. We aim to keep the site ad-light, so pages stay fast and readable instead of buried in banners. If optional paid extras are added later, they will be clearly labeled and will sit on top of the free tier, not take features away from it.
