The RankSurge Match Tracker will turn each finished game into a post-match report card: your key stats, how they compare with your recent average for the same role, and short coaching notes on what to keep and what to fix. It will explain every stat in plain language, from K/D and ADR to CS per minute.

Coming next. Report cards build on the live stats for Deadlock, CS2, Dota 2 and Destiny 2. Get notified when it goes live.

What will be on a post-match report card?

Core stats

The handful of numbers that matter for that game and role, not a wall of figures.

Versus your average

Each stat will be compared with your own recent matches on the same role, agent, hero or champion.

Coaching notes

Two or three automated prompts, like "damage per round dipped on attack" or "farm fell off after 15 minutes".

Cards will be built only from completed matches. RankSurge never shows live or pre-match data on other players in your lobby.

What does each stat mean?

Stat What it measures Main games
K/D Kills divided by deaths Valorant, CS2, Deadlock, OW2, Marvel Rivals, Destiny 2 PvP
ADR Average damage dealt per round CS2, Valorant
KAST % of rounds with a kill, assist, survival or trade CS2, Valorant
HS% Share of hits or kills that were headshots CS2, Valorant
CS/min Minions and monsters killed per minute League of Legends
Vision score Riot's measure of vision gained and denied with wards League of Legends
Damage Total or per-minute damage to enemy players All games
Healing Health restored to teammates OW2, Marvel Rivals, Deadlock

Why compare against your own average?

Your average on a given role is the fairest baseline. A support in Marvel Rivals and a duelist in Valorant should not be judged on the same kill numbers.

How will the coaching notes work?

Notes will flag the biggest gaps between this match and your norm, then suggest what to review. They are pattern spotting, not a human coach.

Examples of notes

"Your KAST fell well below your average: check how often you died untraded." "CS per minute dropped after laning: look at your mid-game wave management." "Healing was high but deaths too: review your positioning."

Use one note per session. Fixing one habit at a time beats trying to fix everything after a loss.

Where do report cards fit with other tools?

Find a profile with the Player Lookup, put two players side by side in Compare Players, and turn your notes into weekly targets in the Rank Goal Planner.

Frequently asked questions

What is a post-match report card?

It will be a one-screen summary of a single match. It will show your core stats for that game, compare them with your recent average for the same role or hero, and add a few plain-language coaching notes. The goal is to tell you what went well and the one or two things worth fixing, without making you read a full box score.

What is a good K/D ratio?

A K/D of 1.0 means you got as many kills as deaths, which is a sensible baseline in shooters. Whether higher is good depends on role. Entry fraggers and duelists often trade deaths for space, while supports may post a low K/D and still win games. Look at K/D next to ADR, KAST and win rate rather than on its own.

What is the difference between ADR and KAST?

ADR is average damage per round, which measures how much damage you deal, even when it does not end in a kill. KAST is the percentage of rounds where you got a kill, an assist, survived, or were traded. ADR shows impact through damage; KAST shows how consistently you contributed to rounds. Strong players usually score well on both.

Which games does the Match Tracker cover?

It is planned for all seven RankSurge games: Valorant, League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Deadlock, Destiny 2, Marvel Rivals and Overwatch 2. Each card will use the stats that matter in that game, such as CS per minute and vision score for League or healing for support heroes. Valorant cards will appear only for players who opt in with Riot Sign On.

Are the coaching notes written by a person?

No. Coaching notes will be generated automatically from your match data by comparing it with your own recent averages for the same role or hero. They are prompts to review, such as a drop in damage per round or missed farm, not professional coaching. For deeper help, rewatch the match with the note in mind.

When will the Match Tracker be live?

It will launch in phases on top of the live stats service. Deadlock, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and Destiny 2 come first, League of Legends and Valorant follow once Riot approves our production key, and Overwatch 2 is last. Marvel Rivals cards wait on an official data source. Sign up for the newsletter and we will email you when match tracking opens for your game.
