An Overwatch 2 stats tracker shows your competitive ranks, hero stats and match trends from your public career profile. Overwatch has eight ranks, Bronze to Champion; Bronze through Grandmaster have five divisions each. Blizzard has no official public API, so your career profile must be set to public.

Launching soon. The Overwatch stats tracker is the last game in our launch plan and is not live yet. Get notified when it goes live.

Overwatch 2 is now officially called Overwatch. Blizzard dropped the 2 in February 2026. Same game, same ranks, so we use both names here.

What are the Overwatch 2 ranks in order?

Each season starts with placement matches that set your first rank. After that, wins move you up through divisions and losses can stall or drop you. Divisions run from 5 (lowest) to 1 (highest); clear Division 1 and you move to Division 5 of the next rank.

Overwatch rank ladder

Rank Divisions Notes
Bronze 5 - 1 Entry rank
Silver 5 - 1
Gold 5 - 1
Platinum 5 - 1
Diamond 5 - 1
Master 5 - 1
Grandmaster 5 - 1
Champion Above Grandmaster Highest rank
Challenger Tier Leaderboard Replaced Top 500 in Season 20

How do role ranks and Challenger Tier work?

Role Queue gives you separate ranks for Tank, Damage and Support. Open Queue has one rank of its own. Challenger Tier sits above the rank ladder as the leaderboard for the highest-rated players. It replaced Top 500 in Season 20 (December 2025) and ranks players by Challenger Score, earned from wins at Diamond 5 and above.

Which Overwatch stats actually matter?

Overwatch shows many stats per 10 minutes, which makes comparing heroes and roles fair. Focus on the ones tied to your role.

Eliminations and final blows

Damage players should finish fights. Final blows show who actually removes enemy heroes.

Hero damage per 10 min

Steady pressure on enemy heroes, not just shields, is what opens fights for your team.

Damage mitigated

The Tank stat. Damage you block or absorb keeps your backline alive.

Healing per 10 min

The Support stat. Pair it with deaths to see whether your positioning holds up.

Deaths per 10 min

Every death is a team fight played one short. It is the fastest stat to improve.

Win rate by hero

Over enough games, this shows which heroes earn you ranks and which only feel good.

Which Overwatch guides should you read?

Start with how the ladder works, learn which numbers matter, then follow the climbing plan. Each guide is checked against official publisher pages first and dated, and more games are covered in our climbing guides for every game.

Where will RankSurge get Overwatch data?

Blizzard does not provide an official public Overwatch API. Like other trackers, RankSurge will read public career profiles. If your profile is private, we cannot show your stats.

How do I make my Overwatch profile public?

Open Options in game, go to the Social tab, and set Career Profile Visibility to Public. Play a match afterward so your profile has fresh data to read.

Frequently asked questions

What are the Overwatch 2 ranks in order?

Overwatch competitive ranks, lowest to highest, are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster and Champion. Bronze through Grandmaster each have five divisions, numbered 5 (lowest) to 1 (highest), so finishing Division 1 moves you to Division 5 of the next rank. Champion sits above Grandmaster as the highest rank. Above that, the best players appear on the Challenger Tier leaderboard, which replaced Top 500 in Season 20.

Is it Overwatch 2 or Overwatch now?

Both names point to the same game. Blizzard announced on February 4, 2026 that Overwatch 2 would drop the 2 and go back to simply Overwatch, and the 2026 calendar restarted with Season 1 on February 10. Many players still search for Overwatch 2 stats, so we use both names. Everything on this page applies to the current live game.

Why can't RankSurge find my Overwatch profile?

Blizzard does not offer an official public Overwatch API, so stat sites can only read career profiles that players have set to public. If your career profile is private, there is nothing for RankSurge to read. To fix it, open the game's Options, go to the Social tab, and set Career Profile Visibility to Public. New stats appear after you play more matches and the profile refreshes.

Do Overwatch roles have separate ranks?

Yes. In Role Queue you earn a separate rank for Tank, Damage and Support, so you might be Diamond on Support and Platinum on Tank at the same time. Open Queue, where you can pick any hero, has its own single rank. Each season starts with placement matches to set your initial rank, and wins push your progress up while losses can stall or lower it.

Which Overwatch stats matter most?

Judge stats by role. Tanks should watch damage mitigated and deaths. Damage players should track eliminations, final blows and hero damage per 10 minutes. Supports should track healing per 10 minutes and deaths, because staying alive keeps the team alive. Across all roles, win rate per hero over enough games is the most honest guide to which heroes you should keep playing.

When will the RankSurge Overwatch stats tracker launch?

Overwatch is the last game in our launch plan, after Deadlock, Counter-Strike 2, Destiny 2, Marvel Rivals, League of Legends and Valorant. It is not live yet, and we will not publish a date until it is ready. Join the newsletter on this page to hear when it opens. RankSurge is an independent site and is not affiliated with Blizzard.
