A Marvel Rivals stats tracker shows your competitive rank, hero performance and match history together. Marvel Rivals has nine ranks, Bronze to One Above All. The seven tiers up to Celestial have three divisions each at 100 points per division, and One Above All is reserved for the top 500 players.
Lookups not live yet. Marvel Rivals player lookups will open once NetEase offers an official data source. Until then, this hub covers every rank, how points and Chrono Shield work, and which stats matter. Get notified if lookups open.
What are the Marvel Rivals ranks in order?
You climb by earning rank points. Every division takes 100, so a full tier takes 300. Gains depend on your tier, the enemy team's strength and your own performance, and win streaks boost them.
Rewards use the highest rank you reached during the season, so a late losing streak does not cost you your season rewards.
Marvel Rivals rank ladder
| Rank | Divisions | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | III, II, I | 100 points per division |
| Silver | III, II, I | Chrono Shield protection |
| Gold | III, II, I | Chrono Shield protection |
| Platinum | III, II, I | |
| Diamond | III, II, I | |
| Grandmaster | III, II, I | |
| Celestial | III, II, I | |
| Eternity | None | Ranked by points and leaderboard; decay applies |
| One Above All | None | Top 500 on the leaderboard; decay applies |
How does rank protection work?
Chrono Shield covers Gold and below: right after a promotion, it absorbs the first loss that would demote you. Below Celestial, losing at 0 points drops you a division. At Eternity and One Above All, inactivity causes point decay.
Which Marvel Rivals stats actually matter?
Marvel Rivals is a role-based team shooter, so judge stats against your role rather than the whole lobby.
Final hits
The kills you finish. Most important for Duelists, whose job is removing enemy heroes.
Damage per minute
Steady pressure forces enemy healers to work and opens space for your team.
Damage blocked
The core Vanguard stat. Damage you absorb is damage your backline never takes.
Healing per minute
Strategists keep the team alive. Compare it with your deaths to see if positioning holds up.
Deaths
Every death puts your team a hero down. It is the stat every role can improve fastest.
Win rate by hero
Your best heroes over many games show where to spend practice and which picks to lock in.

If an official data source opens, RankSurge would show your current rank, season peak, match history and per-hero breakdowns in one profile, built on an official, publisher-approved data source. You would then be able to compare roles side by side and follow your rank across the season.

Frequently asked questions
What are the Marvel Rivals ranks in order?
Marvel Rivals competitive ranks, lowest to highest, are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity and One Above All. The first seven tiers each have three divisions, III, II and I, with I the highest, for 21 divisioned steps. Eternity has no divisions and ranks players by points and leaderboard position. One Above All is limited to the top 500 players on the leaderboard.
How many points do you need to rank up in Marvel Rivals?
Each division takes 100 rank points, so clearing a full tier takes 300. NetEase has not published the exact formula, but gains and losses depend on your current tier, the strength of the enemy team and your individual performance, and win streaks increase your gains. Losing matches at 0 points drops you a division below Celestial. Your season rewards are based on the highest rank you reached, not where you finish.
What is Chrono Shield in Marvel Rivals?
Chrono Shield is rank protection for Gold and below. Right after you promote into a new division, it absorbs the first loss that would otherwise demote you. Once used, it does not recharge until you win more matches, and higher tiers need more wins to refill it. It is meant to stop a single bad game from undoing a promotion you just earned.
Is there rank decay in Marvel Rivals?
Yes, at the very top. Players in Eternity and One Above All lose points if they stop playing competitive for a set period, and enough decay can drop an Eternity player down to Celestial II. Below Celestial, there is no inactivity decay, so you can take a break without losing your rank, though a soft reset happens between seasons.
Which Marvel Rivals stats matter most?
It depends on your role. Duelists should watch final hits, damage per minute and deaths. Vanguards should track damage blocked and how often they create space without dying. Strategists should track healing per minute and deaths, because a dead healer heals nobody. Across every role, win rate per hero over a meaningful number of games tells you which heroes to keep in your pool.
When will the RankSurge Marvel Rivals tracker go live?
Marvel Rivals player lookups are not live, and there is no launch date. NetEase does not offer an official public stats API for Marvel Rivals, and RankSurge only uses data that publishers allow, so lookups will open only if an official source becomes available. Until then, this hub covers every rank, rank points, Chrono Shield and the stats that matter for each role. Join the newsletter on this page to hear if that changes.
