These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ranksurge.games and the RankSurge stats tools ("RankSurge", "we", "us"). By using RankSurge you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Who can use RankSurge
You must be at least 13 years old to use RankSurge or sign up for emails. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.
What RankSurge is
RankSurge is an independent stats and guides site for competitive games. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Riot Games, Valve, Bungie, NetEase or Blizzard. Game names and related marks belong to their owners; see our Legal Notices and Trademarks for full trademark notices. Stats come from official developer APIs, community APIs and public profiles, may be delayed or incomplete, and are provided for information only.
Linked game accounts
Some features let you link a game account through the publisher's official sign-in. You are responsible for your own game accounts and for following each game's terms of service. You can unlink at any time. We never ask for your game password.
Acceptable use
Do not: use RankSurge to harass, stalk or target other players; scrape or overload the site or its APIs; try to access accounts or data that are not yours; use the site to cheat, break a game's rules, or violate any law; or copy, resell or redistribute RankSurge data at scale without our written permission.
Content and intellectual property
RankSurge's design, text, graphics and code are owned by RankSurge or its licensors. You may share links and screenshots for personal, non-commercial use.
Emails
If you sign up for emails, we will send the messages described at signup. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
Advertising
RankSurge sells advertising packages to businesses and creators. If you buy one, our Advertising Terms and Advertising Content Policy apply in addition to these Terms, along with our Subscription Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy. Ads never appear inside stats, tables, lookup tools or leaderboards, and advertising never changes rankings or player data.
Sponsored content
Ads and sponsored placements on RankSurge are labelled "Advertisement" or "Sponsored". They are paid placements, not endorsements or recommendations by RankSurge, and they do not mean any game publisher endorses the advertiser. Sponsored links use rel="sponsored" and take you to the advertiser's own site, which has its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for products, services or content offered by advertisers. To report a bad ad, email sales@ranksurge.games.
Disclaimers
RankSurge is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that stats are accurate, complete or current, or that the site will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, RankSurge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to RankSurge is limited to US$50.
Changes and termination
We may change these Terms or the site at any time. We will update the date above when we do. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
