Every live RankSurge profile opens with a dashboard: a 0 to 100 Performance Score, key stat tiles, your strengths and what to improve next. Under it, Ask AI answers questions about that profile using only its own stats. You get 10 free questions a day. League of Legends and TFT show an improvement dashboard without a score.
This guide shows how to read each part of the dashboard, how to ask good questions and what the limits are. It is current as of October 2026. Open any profile from Player Lookup to follow along.
What is on a RankSurge dashboard?
| Part | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Performance Score ring | A 0 to 100 summary of the profile, with a label |
| Key stat tiles | The main numbers for that game, each with a one-line explanation |
| Strengths | The stats where this profile scores best |
| Improve next | The weakest scored stats, each with a practical tip |
| Recent form | Recent matches, or best Mythic+ runs for World of Warcraft |
| Ask AI about these stats | Suggested questions and a box for your own |
Buttons on the dashboard let you Save player to your Player Hub or jump to Compare with… in AI Profile Pick.
What does the Performance Score mean?
The score places five to eight key stats on fixed reference bands that RankSurge sets for each game, then weights and adds them. It is our own score, not an official rating and not a percentile.
| Score | Label |
|---|---|
| 80 to 100 | Elite |
| 60 to 79 | Strong |
| 40 to 59 | Solid |
| 0 to 39 | Developing |
If fewer than three scored stats are available, the ring shows Not enough data yet. Open How is this calculated? under the score to see each stat, its value, its bands and the points it earned. Our Performance Score guide lists every band for every game.
Why do League of Legends and TFT have no score?
Riot's developer policies say products cannot create alternatives to official skill ranking systems, such as MMR or ELO calculators. So League of Legends and TFT dashboards are labelled Your improvement dashboard: you still get stat tiles, tips and Ask AI, but no 0 to 100 score. Those lookups also wait on Riot approval before they go live.
How do you use Ask AI on a profile?
- Open a profile: your own or a player you look up.
- Pick a suggested question or type your own: up to 300 characters.
- Read the answer: a few short sentences or bullets, built only from the stats on that profile.
The AI is told to use only the stat lines it receives and never to invent numbers. If your question needs data the profile does not have, it says so plainly. It gives practical improvement tips and refuses to help with cheating.
Which questions work best?
- Deadlock: "Is my farm good for my rank?" or "How can I die less?"
- Counter-Strike 2: "How do I improve my aim stats?" or "Am I using utility well?"
- Dota 2: "Is my GPM good for my medal?"
- PUBG: "How do I get more top 10s?" or "Is my damage good?"
- Destiny 2: "Am I stronger in PvP or PvE?"
- World of Warcraft: "What should I upgrade first?" or "Which dungeon should I push next?"
One clear question gets a sharper answer than a long list. Ask about the stat you most want to change, then check the number again in a week. Questions that name a stat on the page, such as K/D, souls per minute or item level, work best, because the AI can point to your exact number and explain what would move it.
How many questions can you ask?
| Plan | Ask AI questions |
|---|---|
| Free | 10 a day; the panel shows how many you have used today |
| RankSurge Pro | Unlimited in most games |
| League of Legends and TFT | 10 a day for everyone, Pro or not |
After your first few AI requests of the day, a quick human check runs before more answers load. RankSurge uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which usually works in the background, per the Turnstile docs. If you send too many requests too fast, buttons show a short Wait countdown and unlock by themselves.
What does the AI see?
- It sees: the stat numbers on that profile and your question.
- It never sees: the player's name or any account ID; the name is used on the page only.
- It cannot act: it only writes an answer. It cannot change your game account.
Is the Ask AI button in the header the same thing?
No. The Ask AI button in the site header is a site finder: type what you are looking for, such as "compare players" or "Valorant ranks", and it lists matching RankSurge pages and recent guides. It can also hand your question to an outside AI assistant. To ask about your stats, use Ask AI about these stats on a profile dashboard.
How do you get the most from the dashboard?
- Start with Improve next: pick one stat and one tip.
- Ask one question about it: for example "How can I die less?"
- Play a week of matches: then reload the profile.
- Compare with a friend: see whether the gap closed in AI Profile Pick.
Ask RankSurge AI about your profile. Look yourself up on Player Lookup, open your dashboard and ask your first question. Then read how to use AI Profile Pick or the RankSurge start-here guide.
Frequently asked questions
How do I use Ask AI on RankSurge?
Open any live player profile, such as your own Deadlock, CS2, Dota 2, PUBG, Destiny 2 or World of Warcraft profile. Scroll to Ask AI about these stats, pick a suggested question or type your own of up to 300 characters, and press ask. The answer is a few short sentences built only from the stats on that profile. Free visitors get 10 questions a day.
What does the RankSurge Performance Score mean?
It is a 0 to 100 summary of a profile, built by placing five to eight key stats on fixed bands RankSurge sets for each game, then weighting and adding them. Under 40 is Developing, 40 to 59 Solid, 60 to 79 Strong and 80 or more Elite. It is our own score, not an official rating, a rank or a percentile of all players.
Why is there no Performance Score on my League of Legends profile?
Riot's developer policies say products cannot create alternatives to official skill rankings, such as MMR or ELO calculators. To stay within those rules, League of Legends and TFT dashboards show Your improvement dashboard instead: stat tiles, practical tips and Ask AI, but no 0 to 100 score. Those lookups also go live only once Riot approves RankSurge's production access.
Can Ask AI make up numbers?
It is told not to. The AI receives only the stat lines from the profile and is instructed to use only numbers that appear there, and to say plainly when a question needs data the profile does not have. Answers are short so you can check them against the tiles on the page. Treat them as a coach's suggestions, especially on profiles with few matches.
Why did Ask AI ask me for a human check?
After the first few AI requests of the day, RankSurge runs a quick human check before more answers load, so bots cannot use up the AI for everyone. It uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which usually works in the background and sometimes shows a simple checkbox. Your free daily questions are not used up by the check itself.
What does Not enough data yet mean on the dashboard?
It means fewer than three of the scored stats are available for that profile, so a fair score cannot be worked out. That usually happens with new accounts, private profiles or players with very few recent matches. Play more matches or check that your profile is public on Steam, Bungie.net or in the game, then reload the profile.
