RankSurge AI Tools Explained: Ask AI, AI Profile Pick and Dashboards

How RankSurge's AI tools work in 2026: Ask AI for questions about your own profile, AI Profile Pick for comparing two players, the dashboard score, free limits, supported games and privacy.

RankSurge has three AI tools. Ask AI answers questions about your own profile from your real stats. AI Profile Pick compares two players and explains who has the stronger profile. Your dashboard sums up a profile with a 0 to 100 Performance Score and suggested questions. All three only read public stats and never see your name.

This guide shows how each tool works, which games it covers, the free limits and what the AI can and cannot see. It is current as of October 2026. Try them on Player Lookup or in AI Profile Pick.

Which RankSurge AI tool should you use?

Tool What it does Free use
Ask AI Answers a question about one profile, using only that profile's stats 10 questions a day
AI Profile Pick Compares two players and explains which profile is stronger and why Quick pick always free, plus 5 AI picks a day
Dashboard Sums up a profile with a Performance Score, strengths and suggested questions Always free

RankSurge Pro removes the daily limits on AI Profile Picks and Ask AI questions, except for League of Legends and TFT, where everyone gets the same limit.

How does Ask AI work?

  1. Open a profile: look up a player on any live stats page, such as Deadlock, CS2, Dota 2, Destiny 2, PUBG or World of Warcraft.
  2. Pick or type a question: use a suggested question or write your own, up to 300 characters.
  3. Read the answer: a short reply of a few sentences or bullets, built only from the stats on that profile.

The AI is told to answer only from the stat lines it receives and never to invent numbers. If your question needs data the profile does not have, it says so. It gives practical improvement advice, not cheats or exploits.

What can you ask?

  • Deadlock and Dota 2: "Is my farm good for my rank?" or "How can I die less?"
  • CS2: "How do I improve my aim stats?" or "Am I using utility well?"
  • PUBG: "How do I get more top 10s?" or "Is my damage good?"
  • Destiny 2: "Am I stronger in PvP or PvE?" or "How can I raise my K/D?"
  • World of Warcraft: "What should I upgrade first?", "Which dungeon should I push next?" or "Am I ready for Mythic raiding?"

How does AI Profile Pick work?

Enter two players in the same game in AI Profile Pick. While both profiles load, a quick pick appears from the RankSurge score, which weighs the same stats the same way for both players. Then the AI writes a verdict: the stronger profile, a confidence level, three reasons with real numbers and what each player does better. You can share the result with a link.

It works for six games today: Deadlock, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Destiny 2 and World of Warcraft. Use it to compare yourself with a friend, a duo partner or a pro, for example on our CS2 pro comparisons.

What does the dashboard show?

Each live profile opens with a dashboard: a 0 to 100 Performance Score with a label, your strengths, key stat tiles and suggested Ask AI questions. Our guide to the RankSurge Performance Score explains how the score is built. League of Legends and TFT dashboards show "Your improvement dashboard" instead of a score, because Riot's developer policies do not allow tools that create alternative skill ratings.

Use the dashboard as a starting point. The score tells you roughly where a profile stands, the strengths show what is already working, and the suggested questions are the quickest way into Ask AI. If the score says Not enough data yet, play a few more matches and look again.

What can the AI see, and what can't it?

  • It sees: the stat numbers for the profile or the two profiles, with players labelled only as Player A and Player B in a compare.
  • It never sees: your name, Riot ID, Steam ID, Bungie Name, BattleTag, realm or any login.
  • It cannot change anything: RankSurge only reads public stats; the AI writes text and takes no actions.
  • It does not scout lobbies: there are no live in-game alerts and no hidden MMR estimates.

The stats themselves come from public data: official APIs such as the Steam Web API, the Bungie.net API and the Blizzard Battle.net API, plus public stats services such as OpenDota for Dota 2.

Why are some games missing?

We only add AI tools where public data and the publisher's rules allow it:

  • League of Legends and TFT: lookups are waiting on Riot approval, and because Riot's policies do not allow alternative skill ratings, there is no head-to-head pick and no score.
  • Valorant: data is only available for players who opt in through Riot.
  • Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals: there is no official public stats API, and we do not scrape.

How do you get the most out of the AI?

  • Ask one thing at a time: "How can I die less?" beats "How do I get better at everything?"
  • Use real samples: profiles with more recent matches give better answers.
  • Check the numbers: every answer is based on the stats shown on the page, so you can see where it came from.
  • Come back after a week: ask the same question again and see whether the numbers moved.

Ask RankSurge AI about your profile. Look yourself up on Player Lookup, open your dashboard and ask your first question, or compare yourself with a friend in AI Profile Pick. New to the numbers? Read how to read a teammate's profile.

Frequently asked questions

Is RankSurge Ask AI free?

Yes. Everyone gets 10 free Ask AI questions a day, and the counter resets daily. RankSurge Pro removes the daily limit for most games. For League of Legends and TFT, everyone gets the same 10 questions a day, Pro or not, so those features stay equal for all players under Riot's rules. Profiles, stat pages and dashboards are always free.

Does RankSurge AI see my name or account?

No. The AI receives only the stat numbers from the profile, never your display name, Riot ID, Steam ID, Bungie Name, BattleTag or realm. In AI Profile Pick, the two players are labelled Player A and Player B, and the real names are added back on your screen afterwards. RankSurge reads public data and cannot change anything on your game account.

Which games does AI Profile Pick support?

AI Profile Pick works for six games today: Deadlock, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Destiny 2 and World of Warcraft. Both players must be in the same game. League of Legends and TFT have no head-to-head pick, because Riot's policies do not allow alternatives to official skill rankings. Valorant needs Riot opt-in, and Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals have no official API.

How accurate are RankSurge AI answers?

The AI is told to use only the stats it receives and never to invent numbers, and answers are short so they are easy to check against the page. It can still misread context, such as a small sample of matches or a role that naturally has low kills. Treat answers as a coach's suggestion based on your numbers, not a final judgement, and check them against your own experience.

What is the difference between the quick pick and the AI pick?

The quick pick appears instantly from the RankSurge score, which weighs the same stats the same way for both players. The AI pick follows a second or two later and explains the result in plain language, with a confidence level and three reasons using real numbers. The quick pick is always free; free visitors get 5 AI picks a day, and Pro removes that limit.

Can I use the AI to scout players in my game?

No. RankSurge does not offer live lobby scouting, in-game alerts or hidden MMR estimates. The AI tools work on profiles you look up yourself, so they are best for reviewing your own stats, planning with friends and comparing yourself with players you want to learn from. That keeps the tools fair and within each publisher's rules.
