When did MW4 Season 1 start in my time zone?

What new multiplayer maps and modes are in Season 1?
Three 6v6 maps arrived at launch, with two more promised for mid-season:
- Backstab: a new medium-size map.
- Canyon: a new medium-size map.
- Shoot House: a reimagined version of the fan-favorite training ground.
- Coming mid-season: Ministry and Overflow, plus maps Activision has not named yet.
Grind and Drop Zone return as modes, and Gauntlet 1v1, a Gunfight variant, runs through the Wager Match event. Counter Attack and a new Team Deathmatch variant are due mid-season. Shipment, Possession and Infected were already added before the season began.

New Apex attachments also arrive for the Hyeon Auto and Kastov 545, plus an M16 burst kit for the M4. The Battle Pass operator is Blix, a former South Korean special-warfare soldier, while XERO comes with BlackCell.
How much is the Season 1 Battle Pass, and is BlackCell worth it?
The Battle Pass has 100 tiers on a single track and costs 1,100 COD Points, or 2,400 COD Points for the Bundle. You can earn up to 1,100 COD Points back by finishing it. If you own the premium pass and fall behind, the game catches you up to the current day's reward, up to day 50.
BlackCell is the premium upgrade. It adds the XERO operator, 20 tier skips, 1,100 COD Points and seven BlackCell skins, and it unlocks the DMZ FOB vendor. It is already included for Vault Edition owners. It is only worth buying if you play most days and want the cosmetics; the free and standard tracks already include both new weapons.
What is new in Warzone for Season 1?
Warzone moved to Modern Warfare 4 at the start of the season. The headline changes:
- Hajin, a new large Battle Royale map spanning North and South Korea, with 13 major points of interest, changing weather and a new two-layout Gulag.
- Zodiac, a compact Resurgence map set in a drone factory, with tunnels and moving trains.
- Tactical Sprint is now on by default for everyone, and new Elite perks drop in matches.
- Warzone launched on Nintendo Switch 2, and support for PS4 and Xbox One ended.
- Verdansk and Rebirth Island return later in Season 1.

What is in DMZ Season 1?
MW4 has no Zombies mode at launch; DMZ, the extraction mode, is the third pillar alongside Campaign and Multiplayer. Season 1 adds X01, a GRANIT Arms black site with a sealed Deep Vault, with Ghost acting as your guide. New threats include The Captain, who fights with a Juggernaut escort, and an autonomous Wheelson patrol. A FOB vendor sells gear for DMZ Cash if you own Season 1 BlackCell.
What events can I play in Season 1?
- Wager Match: runs across Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone and uses Trophies as its currency.
- Joint Fire: a squad XP event that rewards playing with friends.
- Weapon camo events: limited-time challenges with camo rewards.

When is Season 1 Reloaded, and when does Season 2 start?
Activision has confirmed a mid-season Season 1 Reloaded update but has not given a date. The Season 2 start date is not announced. The Call of Duty League 2027 season begins on December 4, 2026 and is played on MW4, according to GamingTrend.
